Scopes of the Centre are:
- To train the teachers who teach talented individuals in all institutions for talented individuals in the programme arranged for gifted and talented individuals;
- To arrange programs and meetings for talented individuals in Turkey and other countries such as science and nature camps, activities in summer and winter schools, leadership development programs and etc.;
- To arrange national and international congress, panel, seminar, workshop, conference, and similar activities on gifted and talented individuals;
- To cooperate with international institutions and join the international projects about gifted and talented education;
- To publish scientific journals and bulletin following the studies on talented individuals closely;
- To concentrate on the works for having a department of gifted and talented education within education faculty of the university;
- To plan and practice national and international co-projects with non-governmental institutions and state institutions and organizations in particular studying on talented individuals;
- To enable talented individuals to attend the institutional and practical classes at Karabuk University and then give them an opportunity for undergoing training;
- To Prepare projects which can be carried out together with academicians and related educational institutions;
- To open the way for talented individuals do scientific studies in their field of interest and to do projects on solving the problems and fulfilling the need;
- To organize language courses for talented individuals to improve themselves and be successful in international platform;
- To train talented individuals who will be able to solve problems and create diversified, enriched and individualized curriculum;
- To improve their mental and psychological development and prepare the environment for it;
- To enable gifted individuals to gain an awareness of living in harmony with their family and society through appropriate programmes;
- To develop specific curriculum and models for gifted and talented individuals, publish them and contribute to their application;
- To follow up gifted individuals in Karabuk as well as across the country, who are unable to take special education and then prepare them for life through similar organizations;
- To search for the institutions and organizations from which they could scholarship and prepare the milieu relevant to their skills;
- To provide them with opportunity to improve technical innovations and tools according to the need in the work place;
- To support talented individuals with scholarship within and outside the normal curriculum;
- To conduct the studies to find out gifted individuals and support counselling activities;
- To coordinate tools and methods and support the application and assessment studies to identify talented individuals.
